The lifting of COVID restrictions in 2021 witnessed the triumphant return of the ANJO Youth Big Band for a project with heavyweight NY saxophonist, Will Vinson. Will’s original music has been arranged for Jazz Orchestra by some of the worlds leading jazz composers including Guillermo Klein, Florian Ross, Miho Hazama, Tim Garland & Alan Ferber. These arrangements were commissioned by the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2020.

This project saw ANJO Youth BB meeting in Sydney for an intensive rehearsal period with our Guest artist before a performance at the Sydney Con International Jazz Festival on May 30.
